Mad Ants to Honor IHSAA Football State Champions; Concordia Cadets

Fort Wayne, IN (November 30, 2016) –The Fort Wayne Mad Ants will honor the 2016 IHSAA Football State Champions, the Concordia Cadets, at this Saturday’s (12/3) home game vs the Windy City Bulls at 7:00 p.m.

All players, coaches and cheerleaders will be honored, following the Pacers Dunk team, at half-time of the game.

“We are so proud of the Cadets” said team President Tim Bawmann.  “To win a State Championship in the house that Peyton Manning built is quite an accomplishment and one our community should recognize”.

With their 56-14 win against Lawrenceburg this past weekend, the Cadets won their first State Title in school history.

Concordia had never made an appearance at the IHSAA State Football Championship game before this season.

Current students, faculty, and alumni wearing Concordia gear will receive a ticket to the Mad Ants game for only $5 at the Allen War Memorial Coliseum Box Office.

Come show your Concordia pride and help welcome the new State Champs!
